An 18th century chateau and surrounding grounds 1 hour from Aix-en-Provence in the eastern Luberon. Dating back to the 1720s decade, this elegant listed building stands at the end of a tree-lined driveway, surrounded by 15 hectares of grounds. One of its facades enjoys a prominent position, overlooking the neighbouring village. The architectural style of the chateau is impressive, with a classic ”Grand Siècle” appearance reminiscent of the finest residences in the Île-de-France region. An orangery, two guest houses and a caretaker’s cottage complete the chateau, which, like its outbuildings, features exposed or rendered stone facades, is two storeys high and of a symmetrical layout with evenly spaced rectangular or arched windows topped with monk-and-nun tiles. The garden, planted with majestic plane trees, is arranged around an impressive water feature measuring around 25 m by 35 m.
